A peaceful pocket of Corfu
This delightful fishing village on the southeast coast of Corfu is ideal for a more tranquil and relaxed holiday away from the hustle and bustle. Boukari has a picturesque harbour, where fishing boats bob gently on calm waters, bringing in a catch for the traditional tavernas that serve fresh seafood.
Green hills and olive groves surround the village (pack your hiking boots!), and the coastline is dotted with small beaches and hidden coves, lapped with the kind of water you can see the seabed through. These conditions make it ideal for paddling, swimming, sunbathing, and snorkelling. Boukari is also an excellent base for exploring the nearby attractions, such as the historic town of Corfu, the Achilleion Palace, and the Mon Repos Palace, where the late Duke of Edinburgh was born.
