Eriva Apartments

"Our first time in Corfu and it was beautiful. The Eriva Hotel is 5/ 10 minutes walk to the beach, which is all pebbles and the same distance to the shops. There are lots of bars and restaurants to visit with free sunbeds if you buy from their bar and you can walk along the beach front into Roda. The rooms are very basic and could do with being modernised, the kitchen has a kettle and a two ring hob and a fridge. Kitchen utensils are extremely basic. The bins were emptied every day and the beds were changed 3 times during our 2 weeks stay. Towels are changed every 3-4 days. The grounds and pool area are immaculate. You can get a bus into Sidari and Corfu town centre. They don’t provide toilet roll but will give you some if you ask. The beds were really comfortable not so much the pillows. The staff are all really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food but we didn’t hear any complaints. Mosquito repellent is a must. Overall a fabulous 2 weeks and we will be back."

"Absolutely loved this stay.. Very quiet & relaxing All staff so very friendly on arrival greeted politely check in very smooth & quickly shown to our room, these apartments are basic as advertised but I can’t stress enough how clean everything is… our room was serviced every day plenty of hot water & good pressure. Bedding & towels changed every 3 days, plenty of sunbeds pool area is spotless the bar & restaurant are very good plenty of choice & well priced. Peppe is a little star such a happy little dog 🐾 Local cats are so very friendly & clearly looked after🐈 Location is 5 minutes to the beach 5 minutes to the Main Street, super market 5 minutes. Local bakery on main st is fabulous Can’t recommend this hotel/apartments highly enough."

"I’ve had a lovely relaxing time from my usual busy work schedule. Emilio is the owner and is very friendly. Happy to help on any situation and was the first to welcome me upon arrival. I stayed in room 43 a ground floor apartments. Had the basics like kettle and 2 electric rings with a small array of utensils, plates and pans and it is quite basic. But on purchasing the holiday I knew that it was not going to be a ‘luxury 5 star hotel and spa’ which some reviewers seem to think that’s what they expect when the purchase a lower price hotel. Eriva apartments has everything you need for a relaxing time for the price you pay. Expecting 5 star. Purchase 5 star but don’t put down Eriva for not being that as some seem to think is ok to do so. Breakfast was very good and well worth the price. Greek night is on a Wednesday evening and was good value. The dancing isn’t my cup of tea but hey ho The room is clean and tidy with a separate kitchen area to the bedroom. The balcony is a great size but I would say the only thing that was disappointing about the room was the bed. Very hard thin mattress which made it like sleeping on a rock surface. Apart from that an excellent stay and I will for sure stay again given the opportunity There’s a bus that runs about 5 times a day to Corfu town. Takes about an hour and a half but even a car takes a good hour and for just short of €10 per person return is good for a day out All in all a lovely holiday. Thank you Emilio and team"
