Piraeus Theoxenia

"I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights who was in Piraeus to purchase a boat. I have a cruise holiday business and wanted to try this hotel so I could recommend to our clients. First impressions of the facade were that it was clean and nice looking. The foyer is quite small and we were welcomed by a male receptionist who checked us in. I was woken in the morning at 8am by building work outside my window. I looked out and could see that a large building appeared to be being taken down with the use if pneumatic hammer drills. The noise was incredible. I recorded the noise. This event occurred each morning thereafter. Upon returning to our hotel on the first evening my friend was greeted by a flooded room as water had come up through the bathroom floor. The man from reception came and moved my friend to another floor at around 1am. For all of this there was no apology from the hotel and no offer of compensation. Maybe I didn't complain hard enough. The hotel is never 5 stars based on our experience and the management should be ashamed. I will not be sending any of our guests to the hotel."

"I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. 51 Euro breakfast and city tax included. I did the booking via the website of the hotel. Location : very close to the ferry port and cruise terminal of Piraeus. calm area at night. Supermarkets, shops, restaurents/tavernas are within 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel Room : room 304 is very nice . clean, a king size bed. very spacious bathroom. nothing to complain about. Breakfast : slices of tomato, cuccumbers, yoghurt, bread, butter, jam, honey, fried eggs, mushrooms, spinach pies, coffee, milk,... wi-fi : works in all the areas Gym : basic material Elevator : spacious"

"We stayed at this hotel in Piraeus (again) in November for the Scotland WC Qualifier at Olympiakous Stadium after enjoying our stay for a match in March. The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable, the breakfast buffet was good and the location perfect for our needs."
