"1 Star
Without exaggeration, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had at a hotel advertised as a 5-star property. I have stayed in dozens of hotels across Greece and abroad, and I can confidently say that this hotel does not come close to meeting the standards of a genuine five-star establishment.
The disappointment started even before my arrival, as I experienced difficulties with the reservation process itself.
I arrived shortly after midnight, exhausted from my journey, and asked if there was anything to eat. I was simply told that nothing was available. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star, this is unacceptable. At the very least, a limited late-night menu should be considered standard.
Breakfast was perhaps the biggest disappointment. It was poor, lacking both variety and quality. I have honestly had much better breakfasts at simple 3-star hotels, even in Bulgaria. For a hotel of this category, the breakfast was far below expectations.
The minibar contained only two small bottles of water and nothing else. I stayed for three nights, and those bottles were never replaced. I often returned late in the evening after long working days and had to go out looking for drinking water. The same happened with the espresso machine. There were only two coffee capsules and a few sugar packets on the first day, and they were never replenished. It is simply unacceptable to pay nearly €450 for a three-night stay and not even be able to enjoy a coffee in your room the following morning.
The rooftop restaurant has also noticeably declined. During a previous stay, it offered excellent sushi, which was actually one of the reasons I chose this hotel again. That has now disappeared, and the menu resembles that of a basic beach bar, offering only very simple dishes that do not match the standards of a luxury hotel.
The rooftop service was equally disappointing. I ordered a glass of wine while working on my laptop at one of the tables, and it was served in a plastic cup because the pool was open. I fully understand the safety concerns around the pool area, but a true five-star hotel should be able to provide a more elegant solution without compromising the guest experience.
As for the pool itself, I found it extremely small and nowhere near what the promotional photos suggest.
What disappointed me the most, however, was the overall experience. At no point during my stay did I feel that I was staying in a five-star hotel. The attention to detail, level of service, and overall hospitality simply do not justify either the hotel's rating or its price.
I am genuinely disappointed because I had stayed here before, and the experience was significantly better. Unfortunately, the quality has clearly declined.
I paid nearly €450 for three nights and, in my opinion, the value provided was nowhere close to what was promised.
Personally, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine five-star experience. I also believe the relevant authorities should periodically reassess whether the services provided still justify the hotel's five-star classification."
