"What can I say about this hotel! First the pickup at the airport was perfect and the driver was so kind. Next check in was seemless and my room did not disappoint. What a VIEW!!! I loved the gym and my massage later that day at the spa was wonderful and relaxing. The bed was so comfortable and I slept great every night. The breakfast buffet was one of the best and the staff could not have been kinder. I have to say something about that shower! I never wanted to get out of it. 😊 I will definitely stay here again. The location the people and the room just made it for me in Athens!"

"Hello everyone, We returned last week from our fourth visit to this wonderful hotel. I’ll start by mentioning its excellent, central location, close to all the major tourist attractions. I must also highlight the fantastic breakfast served on the rooftop, which offers a view of the Acropolis by day and you can always head back up to visit at night as well. This time, we stayed in a standard room on the sixth floor, it was quiet, clean, and spacious. The housekeeping service here is truly top-notch—taking care of everything and each evening, we would return to our room to find a chocolate waiting for us on the bed. We were provided with a bottle of water every day, and on one occasion, when I needed more water late at night, they promptly delivered it to our room at no extra charge. We also greatly appreciated that we were allowed to stay in our room for a few extra hours past the standard check-out time, even though the hotel was fully booked. This is a hotel that genuinely cares about its guests and makes a real effort to show it. And finally, there’s nothing like returning to a hotel where the staff already remembers you and welcomes you with such warmth and a smile. "We have stayed in this hotel a number of times and the last time in October 2025. This hotel is well located near the main shopping areas of Athens, close to the Plaka, the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora. It has a wonderful rooftop restaurant which has views across the city and of the Acropolis. There is an extensive choice at breakfast, all the usual Western options as well as fabulous Greek yoghurt, honey, fruit and pastries. Dinner and drinks on the rooftop restaurant and bar was quite magical. The rooms are comfortable and the furniture and bathroom are top class. However, there was a large amount of street noise which we could hear late into the night as the hotel is located on a very busy and lively street. Nice if you are wandering around in the streets in evening but not great if you are trying to sleep. The rooms on the lower floors could do with some noise insulation. The lobby area was rather sterile and uninviting compared to other Electra hotels we have stayed in. We found the restaurant staff wonderful but the reception staff were generally indifferent and not particularly helpful. This would not have mattered much except that when we were leaving the hotel for our flight home we were caught up in a national strike which prevented our driver being able to reach us at the hotel. The hotel staff were uninterested and unhelpful. In the end after frantic phone calls with our driver we had to run across the Plaka with our heavy bags searching for our driver amongst the hordes of tourists near the Acropolis Museum. Our driver told us he called our hotel 11 times and asked them to get a porter to help us get to his van but they refused even when he offered to pay extra for the service. This was in circumstances when the hotel staff told us they could not contact the driver. When we were leaving one of the staff told us he hoped we would make it in time for our flight! When we told our agent about our experience she told us that the hotel has enough customers to fill the rooms each summer so they don't really care. We would not stay there again but overall we have had good experiences at other Electra hotels."
