Athens Zafolia Hotel

"Very good hotel. Beautiful reception. Even though no one spoke Portuguese at the hotel, we managed to understand each other. The check-in was fast. The apartment is very good. Excellent bed. The room has what is necessary for an excellent stay. The bathroom is very good, excellent shower, very good towels. Everything very clean. Excellent breakfast. When the location is in an area with easy access to taxis, which is what we used. All the people we encountered were nice."

"Room & bathroom were ok, bed stiff & pillows are lousy, only thing good is water pressure & kinda nice towels, otherwise room& bathroom needs some updating!! Rude waiter managing the coffee station @ breakfast!"

"Good location just 1 mile from the Archaeological Museum. Fine big rooms, though the plugs and lights were not very handy, and the bathrooms are very dated. I found the staff at reception very helpful but the rest of the staff less so. The staff at the bar were hopeless - one of our party had to wait 20 minutes to get served a beer - and not particularly friendly. I would recommend going around the corner to the Purple Cafe for proper Greek hospitality by Antonious at half the price as the hotel bar. The breakfast was fine but again the staff were ignorant - I was waiting ages to use the coffee machine but just as it was my turn, one of the waiters opened it up to carry up some servicing."
