"Excellent hotel, perhaps a little dated but very functional. Very rich breakfast. Fantastic location a stone's throw from the Syntagma Square metro. It overlooks the busiest street in Athens, which is pedestrian-only."

"I love the location of this hotel. It’s right in the heart of Athens and close to everything, which was very convenient. However, we ran into several issues during our stay. First, upon check-in, the receptionist asked us to pay two nights of city tax even though we had only booked one night. We were eventually able to clear that up, but then we were given a one-bed room with a view of another building’s wall, even though we had booked a two-bed room with a city view. We called the front desk, and they offered to split the bed into two, but it makes no sense since the it’s only a one mattress. On top of that, the bathroom sink had very poor drainage. Eventually, they moved us to a two-bed room with a balcony. The room was clean, but unfortunately, it was still not really livable because the bathroom sink was clogged. We used the sink in the evening, and by the next morning, the water was still sitting there and had not drained. Overall, the location is excellent, but the issues with the room, drainage, and check-in made the stay much more disappointing than it should have been. Also this hotel comes with an access to the rooftop bar, which has the view of the Acropolis and hotel customers get 10% discount on their first order."

"Perfect location, really central within walking distance of most visitor attractions in Athens but the staff aren’t particularly welcoming or helpful. We booked an executive room which was supposed to have city views, coffee machine, larger balcony etc. but we were given room 212 on the second floor with a view of a yellow wall no coffee machine, we did complain but reception were very unhelpful. Breakfast was good, reasonable selection & the views of the Acropolis from the roof top bar is amazing"
