"This was a little gem of a hotel. The quality of the rooms and the staff were 11 out of 10. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Basic details: 4 night stay in a junior suite for three people (including 9 year old child). First time visiting Athens. The pictures of the room don't look as good as the real thing. I was expecting a nice, but not 5-star, room when I booked it. After arriving I knew immediately it was a top quality (5-star) Accor property. The room was spacious. Marble everywhere. Comfortable bedding. Not a single thing to complain about. Oh, and you can flush toilet paper here (or at least we did, oops if we weren't supposed to). The location was nice as well. The area has high-end shopping and is close to some really nice restaurants. We felt very safe at all hours. It is also away from main roads so you don't really hear much noise at night. The staff was incredible. The butler, Lampros, is someone we'll never forget. He was always smiling and engaging with us. He also went out of his way and drove to a toy store 25 minutes away to pick up a Playmobil set for our daughter (it was hard to find and it was our last day there and we didn't have time to get to the store; we didn't expect to get it, but when Lampros heard, he insisted on it!). We found it wrapped up in our room when we returned that evening and our daughter was beyond excited. Can't fail to mention that Sissy at the front desk was super helpul calling around to different stores to find the toy set. Our experience with the staff beyond Lampros and Sissy was nothing but enjoyable. Thank you Capital Suites for making our stay in Athens such a wonderful experience."

"Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The day before arrival the hotel reached out for our arrival time. As we were coming off a cruise, they offer to store our bags until then room was ready so we could begin explori g the city. Konstantina Malatesta the hotel manager ensured we had a map and understood the city layout. When we returned our room was ready - an upgrade to an executive suite was a wonderful surprise. If you are staying for any length of time its a wonderful layout with a separate bed/bath and an additional half bath off the living/dining room. In addition to this to some welcome treats the minibar drinks are also included. Konstantina also arranged a taxi for our trip to the Acropolis for our evening tickets (make sure you book in advance!) This is a great design boutique hotel - bathrooms are gorgeous linens and amenities were A++. The light switches are funky and Fab but take a min to figure out. The sofa was huge for a hotel room and all the furniture was good quality. Dyson hair dryer (including attachments!) was a very appreciated. Huge closets/drawers - this would be my hotel choice for sure if i was on an extended business trip and was an amazing relief from the cramped cruise life we had just been on. Also - the Mgallery sister hotel is literally around the corner and you have access to their pool and of course restaurants. Location is great - great shopping and dining nearby and easy access to the metro. If you're tired, taxis are easy to arrange and very affordable (download the free now app - you know the price ahead of time so no concerns about haggling over rates). Breakfast is well done and includes buffet AND items from the menu. Thanks for an amazing stay in Athens! Regarding other reviews i considered before booking: yes it is in a pedestrian only road so you have to walk 1/2 block to meet taxis - no biggie. The view from the rooms - ours was a parking lot and the back of some buildings but I've had worse. They do a beautiful job with curtains and shade to let in plenty of light and obscure the cityscape if you hate it. The location and service far outweigh the view."

We were surprised when we booked in to the hotel that whilst we were in the main hotel our daughter and son- in law had been booked into the hotel’s suites around the corner because the hotel was full. We were a little disconcerted at first but in fact the suites were lovely, very luxurious with a lovely comfortable lounge where breakfast was served. and our family loved staying there. Breakfast in Flavours was as good as usual. It was so hot in Athens that we stayed inside during the day and had a couple of excellent lunches at Mappemunde bar on the roof terrace. We also had another excellent dinner outside on the roof terrace, with lovely food and views. Service in the restaurants was extremely good."
