Acropolis Vision

"While on an island hopping trip, I stayed. twice at the Acropolis Vision. First stay, my room was located in a building adjacent to the hotel, right next to the pedestrian pathway. Beautiful room, very comfortable BUT very noisy at night because of nearby entertainment. Second stay, at the end of my trip, I was given a wonderful room in the main hotel, it was just lovely!! Friendly staff, great location!"

"This small quaint hotel is located on a pedestrian street in Thissio in the heart of Athens. Within minutes from the hotel are plenty of restaurants, cafes, attractions and shopping - everything is walkable and all the neighborhoods are very safe. We stayed in the King room with balcony. The room istelf is comfy, a little basic and on the small side by north american standards. It would have been nice to have a bit more storage in the room and some upgraded furnishings. The bed though was comgrotable. The bathroom was big enough but could really only fit one person in there at a time. Having a balcony helped give the room a larger feel, however the view of the pedestrian walkway was blocked by a rather large tree. Still it's always nice to be able to sit outside while enjoying an Espresso or treat. That reminds me, no Nespresso machine in the room. That would have been nice. In addition to the location, one of the main features of the hotel was the rooftop patio and its wonderful view of the city and the Acropolis. We had breakfast on the patio everyday and also enjoyed some time there in the evening. The rooftop also featured a bar which was open in the evening. The staff were nice and always helpful. They tidied up the room each day, replenished our bottled water and also changed the towels. For the most part we were quite happy with our stay and would recommend this pleasant little hotel."

"Excellent hotel set in a perfect spot for exploring Athens. We just booked room only so didn't sample the breakfast but did use the rooftop bar area in the evening - great spot to have a drink and enjoy the fabulous view. We did book a balcony room - the balcony is tiny and we had no view as the trees block it so wouldnt bother in future. Really good restaurants and cafes surround the hotel & it is an easy walk to the Acropolis from here."
