"My wife and me spent 2 weeks in Grand Resort Lagonissi . During our stay full of surprises , we enjoyed unique and professional services with an unimmitable Greek family touch . Congratulations for this great teamwork . The reservation process was extremaly customer oriented and helpfull . First week with no surprises . Absolutely top roomservice . Breakfast Seved allways on time , prepared with great CARE . Lunch and dinner room menu extendet by restaurant menu. Fantastic grilled whole fresh fish . Capitains House restaurant with great evening atmosphere . Top SPA treatments . Housekeeping discreet with great attention to details . After one week of our stay my wife got an acute appendicitis . And than the magic begun . The hotel affiliated car drived us with horn and headlight to the hospital , as there was a traffic jam on the highway . The hoteldoctor arranged in emmergency a surgery lead by an extremely experienced Professor. As my wife is after hesrthsurgery , nothing was standard . We were in the hospital 4 pm at 8 pm my wife was on the operation table after all necessary exams . She is now fine . After the surgery we spent another 5 days in the hotel , enjoying the best possible service in all aspects from reception and guestrelations team GREAT THANKS TO ALL MEMBERS OF STAFF Our highest recommendation for this property"

"I stayed here again after some time, this time for only one night and in the main building. On previous visits, I stayed in the bungalows and accommodation outside the main building. There were already some maintenance issues then, such as the bungalow sliding doors not closing properly with wide gap letting insects and hot air in, poor bedding and loose fixtures—issues colleagues also reported on this visit. I had hoped that this time, in the main building, I would find a much better maintained room: spoiler, I was utterly wrong. Overall, the service continues to be efficient, though I often found it a bit soulless and definitely not reflective of any Greek hospitality. This morning, in particular, service at checkout was mechanical and borderline rude. The reason I’m writing this review, however, is the appalling condition of my room, 522. This is absolutely not worthy of the hotel’s ambitions or its membership of LHW, a collection I treasure and whose hotels I have stayed at many times. Regardless, I don’t think it is acceptable, even at the end of the season, to rent out a room in this condition (see pictures)—especially with outright dangerous items such as a chair that was nearly falling apart (and where a missing part was hidden behind the table leg and wall). Independent of that, the bathroom is minuscule and outdated, the safe too small for any decent laptop and is bare steel inside, not even a fabric on the inside, the coffee machine is a 10+ year old model and you only get disposable paper cups the hangers are ofbthe kind that are made when a hotel is afraid of theft, ... this is low-class airport airport style... When I pointed out the broken chair to the receptionist this morning there was no reaction, not even acknowledgement. This place lives of its location, and past fame. Deep lack of service culture and investment. Much better choices on the coast here - avoid."

"This was our first visit to the Grand Resort Lagonissi and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The room was a little dated but that did not diminish our experience. The area around the resort was not that nice but given the size of the property and the numerous restaurants it was not necessary to leave the premises. The location of the main amenities, spa, gym, restaurant on their main beach was a great convenience."
