Novotel Nuernberg Centre Ville

"The hotel is at a very good location not too far away from the Central Station and very close to the Old Town. The staff (reception, bar, restaurant) was very kind and helpful. We received a very nice room and enjoyed our stay very much. We liked the Italian restaurant of the hotel. The hotel had a good airconditioning system, which was important as during our stay temperatures reached heights ~35 °C."

"Upon my arrival at the Novotel Nuremberg, the staff member informed me that I had to pay an additional 60 euros as a deposit for my stay, because there were afraid in case I make any expenses the hotel must have a guarantee!!! Note that, I have never been asked for a deposit by hotels in this chain before. Although I requested to settle my stay upon arrival, to pay the whole amount for my stay, she insisted that this was not possible. After informing the hotel manager about my disagreement, the manager told me that if I didn't pay the 60 euros, I would not be allowed to stay at the hotel and should find somewhere else to stay. His attitude was offensive and dismissive towards me, saying that this is the hotel's policy and if I like it, I can stay, otherwise, I can leave. Because I have been a Silver member at Accor Hotels for years, I consider this to be the most unprofessional behavior I have encountered in my life from a hotel manager who is acting like an owner or the hotel and it truly discredits your hotel. I'm sorry that this person was chosen for this position. At last I suggest to visit Greece to learn about greeck hospitality!"
