Sofitel Munich Bayerpost

"Wonderful!! Excellent service!! Beautiful and clean hotel. We stayed at the Sofitel for twelve days and had an amazing stay. Zero issues. Zero complaints. The entire hotel was immaculate and exceptionally clean. The entire staff was OUTSTANDING from the minute we checked in. We came to Germany for medical treatment for my husband’s cancer and everyone was so kind and helpful. We had a few days away from the clinic and we had hoped to visit Vienna. Unfortunately, my husband wasn’t feeling well enough for that and the front desk worked with us to find a room at the hotel. We moved one night to a two-story suite and they did not charge us any extra and then they moved us back to the previous room. They had the room ready each time also. The breakfast buffet was delicious and every single server was pleasant, cheerful and attentive. This was one the BEST hotel stays that we have ever experienced and we have traveled a lot. The front desk knew about my husband’s condition and people checked on us throughout the day, including managers and servers from the buffet and also their La Delice restaurant (all meals were delicious there). Even the bellhops were asking how he was feeling each day! They went out of their way to make us comfortable during our entire stay. We spent our last 3 days in Germany at the Kempinski in Munich and the service was disappointingly rude and not any where near the level of the Sofitel."

"It’s a unique building within which the hotel is seamlessly integrated and gives a very unique experience. The breakfast spread is something you’ll cherish for a long time and the croissants is a stand out and is probably one of the best till date! It’s situated right outside the station which is very convenient."

"Fabulous hotel! Nice big building, room was great and the staff were very attentive. We stayed on the 7th floor in a luxury king room which was really comfortable and spacious. The spa was nice and the pool was good for swimming but unfortunately too cold to relax in (maybe because it was -10 Celsius outside). Bar was good too. We really enjoyed it"
