"⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Avoid this hotel at all costs. This has been, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had, made even worse by the complete lack of accountability afterwards. We arrived on 14 May and immediately discovered our room was 9°C because the hotel had switched the entire building to “summer mode,” meaning there was no heating whatsoever. I have screenshots showing the room temperature. Nine degrees is completely unacceptable for paying guests. We raised the issue with reception immediately. The two reception staff working that morning (CCTV will confirm who they were) acknowledged the problem. We asked whether we could upgrade to another room, but were told there were no rooms available. As the room was uninhabitable, the hotel agreed that we could leave. This was confirmed multiple times and also discussed with Booking.com. Fast forward two months… Suddenly nobody remembers anything. The staff who agreed to everything now claim they have no recollection, the hotel refuses to take responsibility, and Booking.com has offered only a partial refund, despite the fact that we did not stay because of the conditions. We had to book another hotel at our own expense because this property could not provide something as basic as heating. What is even more disappointing is the complete lack of customer service after the event. Emails are ignored, responsibility is passed from one person to another, and nobody seems remotely interested in resolving the issue fairly. This review isn’t just about a cold room—it’s about how guests are treated when something goes wrong. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they’re handled. In this case they weren’t handled at all. After two months of chasing this, I am still fighting for a refund for a stay that never happened because the hotel failed to provide habitable accommodation. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and have never experienced anything remotely like this. Save yourself the stress, save yourself the money, and book somewhere else. There are plenty of hotels in the area that actually care about their guests."

"Good location close to u Bahn and central train station. Rooms were well appointed with Kitchenette and fridge. Downside we stayed 5 nights with no room service-had to get rid of our own rubbish no change of towels etc. A/C was centrally controlled and hardly adequate in a heatwave. The upside was friendly staff especially Stefan."

"Surrounding area a bit intimidating for two females, but this can be expected in any city. Within easy walking distance to main train station, and 20- 30minutes to main square. Premium price but worth it for comfort of accommodation, and facilities in room. Would stay again. "
