"While the distance from the train station is short, and the breakfast buffet was excellent, The rooms (they refer to as suites) are very small and the building has extremely poor ventilation. There is no air conditioning in the gym or hotel room. It is on so low that one cannot feel any improvement. The HVAC is so bad that when you come off the elevator, you are hit with an impactfully stuffy odor. Unless you are a meat eater, there is nowhere to dine near this hotel. If I ever return to Munich, I would select another place to stay."

"My wife and i planned ahead for our 12 days in Munich with a week end break in between staying in a four stars hotel. Admittedly, after extensive search and lots of reviews reading the Residence Inn turned out to be a good choice. Yes it does have some flaws like the fact that the housekeeping in the rooms is only done every other day, which was surprising for a four stars hotel. But on other hand the rooms have larger than usual minibar fridges, stove, microwave, dishwasher (wish washing soap refills) a reasonable set of dishes, cutlery, glasses, mugs, bowls, pans etc. Room size is ample as well as shower & bathroom. Breakfast has a large variety. The basement has besides a gym available 24/7 a laundry room with dryers as well. Location is not very central but only two underground stations away from the main walking shopping street. Area is quiet with many restaurants, pubs/bars, supermarkets, massage parlors nearby. We left our suitcases for three nights having planned a week end in Austria and they were brought up to our room when we returned. We enjoyed our stay & overall experience, though hotel might require some renovations. Price value including breakfast is reasonable. Recommended."

"We were looking for a hotel with parking and we hit the mark! We were worried that being very close to the station it would be an unsafe area, but it is actually very nice and full of places to eat. The room was sufficiently large and very quiet, the only downside was that the cleaning was done rather carelessly and very late in the afternoon, forcing us to leave the room while we were resting. The reception staff was extremely helpful, professional, and smiling; a shout-out to all the guys/girls at the desk! We also tried the restaurant, which we liked, especially the kindness of the staff. A plus for the appreciated coffee/tea station! We recommend it, but housekeeping needs to be reviewed :-) 😀"
