"Mercure Munich Schwabing is ideally located for city exploration as it's only 3 metro stops from the city center. Walking distance to the metro, around 5 mins. However, there is also a underground carpark provided. The check-in is swiftly, reception staff is sometimes not friendly or could provide better customer service to guests if questions occur. The rooms are rather small in comparison to other Mercure hotels. The breakfast buffet is pretty basic with some cold cuts, jams, danishes and fruits. Summer months it might get pretty warm as A/C is not really strong and it was a bit warm when we visited in May. A rather mixed outcome and depends on your preferences."

"Modernized room, small but nice. Wet cell very small but everything worked nice, all new. Relatively large shower. Receptionists all very friendly, helpful. The only - really minor - flaw was: room was on ground level, facing the atrium court. Some construction was going on and workers sat down at 7:15 in the morning to smoke and eat there - and talk, which of course you could overhear every word. So you had to close the curtains and the window. Other than that: perfect choice for Schwabing."
