"The hotel is clean, functional and basic. However, it is small - the rooms are small, shower cubicles are small, the toilet cubicles are small and there's very little furnishing or comfort in the rooms. This is not helped by the fact that there isn't really any communal space or lobby area. The two rooms we booked had double beds with an overhead single bunk. There was one small table and chair and the hand basin is in the room. For the three of us in one room and the two of us in the other there was no real space to sit comfortably. I shared my bed with my youngest son and we noticed that the duvet was quite narrow, narrower than the double mattress. We also had to request an extra pillow and towels, as the room only seemed equipped for two guests and not the two adults and child we had booked. Thankfully, the room cleaner was able to provide these the following morning. The staff were friendly and helpful, although it is self check-in until 5pm and there was no one there at our midday check-out. There's not much nearby apart from the train stop outside and an Edeka supermarket in walking distance. I guess this would be OK for a maximum of two people using the hotel solely as a place to sleep."
