"Large, well appointed room, comfortable beds, large windows that open in 3 ways, typical of Europe, balcony doors, also open 2 ways. Inadequate fans for unusually hot days. Room 35 stayed cool however, due to its NE exposure and green roof right outside the window."

"Had a four night stay here during the Oktoberfest festivities. The hotel is within an upper middle class neighborhood. It is walking distance to the tram and a supermarket. The tram station is about a five minute walk. The tram itself (after around 19 stops) connects to the faster train (S-Bahn). The total ride time to Munich ( Marienplatz area) is around 45 minutes. The restaurant is excellent with Augustiner on tap. Try the schnitzel. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with many choices (scrambled eggs,bread, great coffee, cold cuts and cheese). The rooms are spacious, clean and well thought out ( folding large mirror and flat screen television) with numerous outlets. The windows open all the way to allow fresh air. Service was very professional and courteous. "
