Friends Hotel Dusseldorf Airport Ratingen

"The room was very very dirty, hair all over : several hairs found in the bed (différent colors ans longer), dust on the bed,hair and dust on the ground, in the bathroom and the shower. The woman at the reception was very unpleasant. She could not speak english and dosen't understand any word of english. She just spoke german and turkish. The day of our arrival, at 23h30, she told us : "if you are unsatisfied with your room, just go, just leave the hotel". After leaving the hotel we made a review on google and booking. They called us very quickly and offered us one night free in the hotel with breakfast and parking, if we accept to change or delete our comment on thei hotel. So that is their way to obtain good notes from their clients. Of course, we refused thei offer and had nothing for free. Just the breakfast was ok."

"The hotel is very close to the airport the rooms are very clean and upscale, staff are very friendly. My suitcase was lost and transferred to me the next day so the staff had toothbrush and shaving equipment for me. . The rooms where cleaned every day I got a complimentary bottle of water and some sweets. Breakfast is very up class and worth the extra money . The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 are too small issues. The first one is none of the staff speak English so you can communicate only by a translation app, and also my suitcase has arrived in the afternoon but I wasn't informed by the front desk even though I asked them to inform me when it arrives so I only found out about it the next day after I call the airline. Except for those two issues great hotel next time I'm going to the dusseldorf I'll be sure to book it again."

"Owner is very kind, rooms are very very clean and the whole building is just brand new. Recommend it!!! We didn’t stay for too long but we tried the rooms and the breakfast, it was well made. Also the interiors of the lobby are so pretty, plus it’s close to the airport!!"
