"I booked six months in advance yet still we were still given a twin room not double room as booked. We basically dropped bags and went out as we had tickets for a match in Mönchengladbach and didn’t return until late. The twin room also stunk of stale cigarette smoke which seemed to be coming in through the extractor fan in the bathroom. We had breakfast the following morning (which was good) before complaining about the room where the male receptionist had an attitude and said I should have told him the night before and that the hotel was fully booked. After explaining that it wasn’t my fault he agreed to change the room but we would have to wait for the room to be cleaned which was fine. A few hours later the room was ready (great) and much more like what we expected. Being by the reception it was very noisy and no attempt had been made to sound proof the room. Bedding wasn’t particularly clean either. Although the room was inexpensive I expected more. Düsseldorf is beautiful especially the Christmas markets and I would fully recommend Just don’t use this hotel. "

"If you're staying for 1 or 2 nights it's a good and central place in Dusseldorf, I booked a single room but stayed in a double so ++ there, although they report there is parking spaces for the car, outside the hotel everything is full after 6pm and I would not recommend this if you are searching for an easy place to park your car. Other than that it's a good stay if you use public transport due to it's location."

"Situated in a lower middle classe area, 15 minutes walk from the train station, the rooms are rather basic (no telephone, no drinks in the mini-bar), but convenient enough if you don´t want to stay for more than one night. WiFi connection is excellent, rather noisy, you hear every other noisy guest coming back to his/her room, but ear plugs help. Room rates are very low"
