"I have been staying at this hotel pretty much yearly over the past few years. I have to say the recent renovations have been really required, especially the bathrooms. Much better and modern now - compared to a few years back. The reception staff were also friendly and fully bilingual. There was an initial mix up with the rooms so we had to move however to professional and positive way that this was handled by the staff really makes this a positive note, not a negative one. Only thing to add - I would suggest a refrigerator in all rooms."
"Stayed here with two other adults. Nice small family hotel. Stayed in room 221. Well outside of central Dusseldorf. Jut 50 yards from a Gassatt the Zur Schönau and same distance from the tram which will take you into the centre of the cit. Trams run every 20 mins and cost 2.80 euros each way. Buy you ticket on the tram the ticket machines have English as well which made it easier. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Beds comfortable, bathroom good and a nice continental breakfast for 8 euros. There is parking behind the hotel which is free but has limited spaces, alternatively there are additional spaces in the underground car park which is 8 euros for the night. Over all very pleasant"
