B&B HOTEL Dusseldorf-City

"First time in Dusseldorf, chose this hotel for quite area, just 5 min walk to metro station, 15 min walk to city center. We arrived on a Sunday 3 pm, worst time to arrive !!!!!!!!!! The reception is on break from 2 pm to 5 pm !!!!! First time in my life to see reception closed during day time !!!!!! The outside door was closed, you have to enter & check in through a machine !!!!!! With your booking number, to open the door for you. They give you a code, room has no key, just code sent to your email We were 3 persons, booked 2 rooms, one double, one single, the machine makes us pay breakfast for 4 persons, not three persons. The room size was fine, the bathroom was ok. Breakfast room is small, the lady at the reception who doesn't speak good English is responsible for the breakfast!!!!! There's small varieties of food & when it's finished, you have to inform reception lady to add more. When I complained to the reception lady about the machine that took more money for fourth person which does not exist, she said she can't refund what's paid!!!! She said also she will try to refund the last day only , but instead of refund money, she charged money again for breakfast!!!!!! When situation escalated she told me that tomorrow her boss will be available & I should explain everything to him. The next day I met Mr Leon ( sorry if spelled wrong ) , he speaks fluent English, I explained the situation to him & he promised he wil refund the amount charged by the lady & the extra 4th person, he refunded only the amount charged by the lady but didn't refunded the 4th person paid by the machine. So the hotel charged a person who wasn't there & didn't refunded the money. Anyway this is my last time at this hotel."

"well-located B&B not far from the airport and train station. Reasonably priced for the area. The rooms are rather small but good enough if you are planning to spend here 1-2 nights. Also not far from the main shopping area of Dusseldorf with an Uber only costing 5-6 euros to get there. "

"nice room, small but everything is clean and there. Bunkbeds for kids with large length (dutch family).. Good breakfast with bread, ham, cheese fresh fruit, good coffee (beans), free parking and.... last but not least nice staff!"
