A hotel to sleep
"Good value for the money. It’s advertised as an airport hotel, which is a bit misleading, ’cause I assumed there would be bus/trainstop to Dusseldorf airport. Unfortunately the trainstop goes only towards Dusseldorf center. But heads up to the lady in the reception, who ordered a taxi in advance for the next morning. Rooms were fairly good, when price is at rate, and the beds were comfortable. Nothing much to see around the hotel."
Excellent stay at the B and B Hotel Airport Düsseldorf.
"We stayed in this property in July 2024 for the Euros. Tram located 100m from the hotel, that will take you to anywhere in the city. Took us about 30 mins to get to the city centre. The room was clean and the bed was really comfy. Shower was ideal. I know it says property is at airport, but don’t worry, I'm a light sleeper and couldn’t hear any noise. Also a few English channels on the TV."
Perfect for an overnight stay for Düsseldorf airport (not the city centre)
"We booked months in advance on Booking.com before our stay on 20.8.23. We stayed for 1 night in a Family Room - a double bed with a bunk bed in one room with a shower room. The hotel despite being called “airport” is actually a 5-10 minute drive away by taxi (we paid €21 to get from Düsseldorf airport to the hotel by taxi). We had a nightmare at check-in. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t get to the hotel until after 11pm when the check-in desk closed. None of the reference numbers Booking.com had provided us with worked, so we thought we were going to be homeless! Luckily there was 2 emergency telephone numbers on the wall, we rang the first - it went to answerphone - luckily the second was answered but with my rusty German, I had to speak a mixture of German & English to explain what had happened. Luckily she found our reservation and give us the access code for the building & for the room (there is no room physical key) - such a relief! The room had air con (a welcome relief as it was 30’c when we visited), free Wifi, comfy beds & a lovely shower. Breakfast was €10.50 each - we booked in the morning due to the aforementioned check-in issues. Great selection of continental breakfast items. Check out was 12noon. The nearest tram stop “ISS Dom” is a 2 minute walk away which on the S1 line takes you to the Düsseldorf Hbf in 25 minutes, then you can change to catch a connection to Düsseldorf Airport, Cologne etc. We would definitely stay at a B&B Hotel again when visiting Germany again."
