"Location perfect. However...Staff did not give us any information when checking in. This includes information like breakfast times, the fact you have to press a button before 11am to get your room cleaned the next day. Food and drink in the hotel really expensive. There's a burger king under the hotel which I found handy. There is 2 lifts and the lifts only go on to certain floors. We was not Informed. To go to the gym we had to go all the way down to level 1, to get in another set of lifts up to level 3. Bizzare set up. No more than 3/5"

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz and would happily consider returning. This trip to Berlin was a special reward trip for my son, who achieved an outstanding Grade 9 in his GCSE German exam. I wanted to celebrate his hard work and achievement by treating him to a memorable trip to Germany, so finding a comfortable hotel in a central location was particularly important to us. One of the highlights was being attended to by a lovely member of staff, a Black lady with braids whose name I unfortunately didn't get. She was warm and helpful, and her service left a positive impression on me. We were allocated a room on the 35th floor, and the view was absolutely priceless! It was wonderful to see Berlin from such a height. However, while the view was impressive, the room itself had a few shortcomings. The toilet and shower were incorporated into the room, with only frosted glass providing privacy. This may not be ideal for everyone, particularly when travelling with family or sharing a room with someone. The room was also very hot and lacked sufficient ventilation. I would strongly recommend that the hotel consider providing small refrigerators in the rooms, as this would be particularly useful for keeping drinks and water cool. Another area for improvement is the front desk service. On occasions, I felt that guests were not acknowledged quickly enough upon approaching reception. Coming from the UK, where I am accustomed to a more immediate acknowledgement, even if staff are busy, I noticed this difference. A simple greeting or indication that someone will be attended to shortly would make guests feel more welcome. Unfortunately, we did not receive room servicing during our stay. We later discovered that we needed to press a button to request this service. We had missed the notice explaining this, and I feel this information should be clearly communicated to guests at check-in to avoid any misunderstanding. On arrival, one of our towels was soiled, although this was promptly replaced when the issue was addressed, which I appreciated. Breakfast, however, was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. The staff were attentive, efficient and always on hand to replenish food and clear away used dishes. The service was excellent, and the breakfast experience was a real positive. Despite these minor disappointments, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel's central location, spectacular views and excellent breakfast made it a worthwhile experience. With a few improvements to room comfort, privacy and guest communication, the overall experience could be even better. Thank you to the staff members who made our stay enjoyable. I would return and hope to see these improvements on a future visit."
