"The good thing right up front: The English-speaking staff is very dedicated, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast buffet was consistently well-stocked, fresh, and attractively presented. Everything else is suboptimal. In the hallways to the rooms as well as in the room itself, it smells unpleasant – presumably it is due to the old carpet. It would be best to remove the entire carpeting and replace it with tile. The rooms are borderline: not a single chair, no desk, merely a sticky nightstand. The radiators are dusty, the shower partition was calcified, and so on. Presumably, the cleaning service also does not have enough time, since a lot of it is spent waiting for the elevator, which one has to share with the hotel guests. The fitness room is furnished without love: four cardio machines (one of them defective) as well as another one that runs unevenly. In addition, a weight bench and a punching bag – that was it. The location of the hotel is great – now the whole place just needs to be properly brought up to speed."

"I stayed at the Moxy for 3 nights and upon check-in the staff advised that the air conditioning wasn't working. Mind you this was a couple days after the heat wave in Europe. Despite the lack of ac, the hotel lobby was always cool and the staff were accommodating and friendly. There was a staff from Poland who has fantastic customer service and made our trip end well. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk to public transport and lots of eating options are within walking distance."
