Maritim Hotel Berlin

"I am a regular Marriott guest and an Elite member, and this was easily the worst Marriott Hotel i have ever stayed in,. The location was poor, but chose the hotel because it was a JW Marriott and so expected the usual high standards associated with the brand. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short. The hotel felt dirty , tired and completely lacking in the quality and finesse expected from a JW. Even more disappointing was the attitude of the team. Several members came across as rude an unwelcoming, and at no point made me feel valued as a guest. During my stay the hotel was supposedly celebration Marriott members, which felt like a complete joke given the lack of recognition or basic basic hospitality received, membership and brand loyalty means nothing in this hotel. I spoke with a director of the property and senior reception but all that came across was that I was an inconvenience. There are far nicer places to stay in the amazing city of Berlin!"

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic. I stayed here for 4 nights with my daughter, bed and breakfast. The hotel is immaculate and we had a room on the top floor. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard. The breakfast was great with lots of options and very friendly staff. One of the best things about this hotel is the concierge, they are amazing with helpful suggestions of where to go and how to get there. The bar staff in the day were so polite. Brilliant place! This is in walking distance of all the main attractions."

"We stayed here one night during the heat wave of June 2026. We had a one bedroom suite. The living room has one love seat sized couch and it isn’t a sofa bed, so my 10 year had to sleep on the tiny couch with his feet hanging off the edge. The AC was terrible or simply not working. Called to ask for a fan but could never get someone to answer the phone. The pool was closed during our stay, a total bummer for the 3 children in our party."
