"Compared to the other budget hotels I have stayed in the area much spacious, and much better than the IBIS nearby.
Good points:
- Rooms are relatively larger than other nearby budget hotels ( I stayed in a double bed)
- Good shower and decent bathroom
- Electric kettle and coffee sachets requested 24/7---decaff also on offer
- Luggage rack inside room
-Nicely placed large mirror in my room to get ready
- Very good breakfast for a budget European hotel. Scrambled/ boiled eggs, bread and toaster, okish pastries but great coffee machine and lovely DIY herbal teas with a wide variety of leaves.
- Most desk staff friendly English speaking except for the female oriental ones who werent rude but not as friendly
- 10-12 casual minute walk to the zoo and underground station
-Doner Game (halal chicken doner) a stone throw away open till late. Another one called Reva (halal and beef doner) 5-6 minutes minutes
-small grocery store 10 minute away
- Nice benches near the breakfast areas you can work on
- Special mention for the cleaning lady. I normally leave a note of thanks with a monetary tip. First time in all my years of travelling, did I received a handwritten reply from the cleaning staff. Although I cant understand German but I am sure it was something nice!
- AC was great and cooled down at fairly a decent pace.
-There is a vending machine which is handy
Bad points:
- Break fast has limited veg protein options
- Carpet looked very old
- All Premier inns has no fridge, no writing pad, no safe, no additional amenities, so slipper and worst is no phone to call reception.
- No central light so room can seem a bit dark in the centre
- Water glasses too small and no complimentary bottle.
- Cheeky Uber drivers might ask you to cross the road for pick up"
