Axel Hotel Berlin Adults Only

"Stayed here for 3 nights July 2025 with my partner. He’d surprised me for my birthday back in March with a trip to Berlin and liked the look of this hotel. Check-in was easy and we received a nice welcome. Up in the room we had everything we needed, a nice clean room all smart and clean lines, blackout curtains and comfortable bed plus welcome lollipops which was a nice touch! The shower and sink is within the room with shower being separated by glass which was fine by us and a toilet separated by a sliding door. It was particularly hot weather in Berlin and the rest of the hotel was a little too warm till eventually windows were opened that helped improve things however the room was fine as the air-con was good. What was also good in the room was a couple of hooks on the wall to hang jackets etc I often think the majority of hotels are missing this however an extra hook at the shower area would be good for towels as the one wasn’t enough. The hotel was quiet of a night allowing for a good nights sleep which we got. We spent a bit of time in spa area upstairs using the hot tub in a sheltered outside area just unfortunate it couldn’t be switched on for the bubbles as it appeared to be broken with no sign of it being fixed whilst we were there. We used steam room and sauna which were a nice touch. The hotel also has a restaurant which we didn’t use. We weren’t sure if this also contained a bar area that could be used we did decide to go take a look one evening however there appeared to be a private event on. We felt the hotels location was a good spot, plenty of restaurants & bars near by including gay bars and close to a metro station. All in all a really good hotel with friendly staff. We loved staying here for our first stay in Berlin. I wouldn’t mind staying at again if me and my partner were to return to Berlin!"

"The hotel was fun and beautiful. The staff was so friendly and professional. I was greeted each time I walked by. The rooms division manager was helping someone and after their interaction she made it a point to walk around the desk just to say hello while I was waiting for the elevator. Fabien, Ishan and Nerbiop(sp?) were fantastic staffing decisions! Kudos to them!"
