"The hotel is conveniently close to the main train station. If you are arriving there, you can take the tram for extra convenience or it is around a 10-minute walk. Other U-Bahn stations are also close.
I have food allergies, so the security of having space to prepare safe food is important to me. I stayed in a studio apartment which was a good size and had the kitchen I needed. Bear in mind not all studios have washing machines - if that is important to you pay attention to the details when booking - the information is there in the room listings. The kitchen is small, but it was adequate for me. You do not get a huge amount of plates etc., but I did have the knives, cutlery, saucepans, frying pan, colander, and utensils I needed. Also, I had a small French press for my coffee habit, which was very welcome! The microwave was also a grill, but not a convection oven.
Housekeeping is once every 3 days by default. I was offered every day when I arrived, but I didn't want it. The housekeeping when it happened seemed to be decent: new towels, bathroom/kitchen cleaned, new bedding. But my floors never seemed to have been vacuumed - there were small cotton pieces and debris that never got cleaned. This also seemed to be the case in the public corridor outside apartments. In my apartment, there was a collection of dust on the top of the curtain that I can only imagine must have taken a very long time to accumulate.
In other similar properties I have stayed in, there is some facility for emptying your own bins and disposing of rubbish should you wish to. This doesn't seem to be the case here. Every day people left rubbish bags on the floor in the corridor outside their rooms. The apartment next to mine left a pile of rubbish in the corridor that remained for at least a couple of days. Suffice it to say this is pretty unpleasant.
As others have mentioned, there is the dishwasher detergent situation. I stayed for a week and was provided with 2 dishwasher tablets. These were presented in a small cotton bag not entirely dissimilar to how a small piece of jewellery might be presented. The crockery etc. provided in the kitchen is really only enough for a couple of meals at most. So you need the dishwasher most days, I would say; or you need to manually wash up. There is the facility to request extra stuff for free in the app. I did this for dishwasher tablets; unfortunately, they were never delivered. I can only imagine the shenanigans that might lead to this veneration of the dishwasher tablet as a sacred resource. But the ones I was provided with looked like they would cost me a few cents in the supermarket; bought commercially, one assumes the cost is even lower. The housekeeping etc., as mentioned, is already pretty basic in this hotel. Touches like this just feel stingy.
The gym is on the ground floor next to reception. It is small, but adequate if you manage to get there at a time when it is quiet! However, the location is not ideal. Much better would be if this was on a floor within the building. Several times I encountered people dressed for the gym or swimming walking through reception when I was on my way in or out of the hotel. If you are having any meetings etc. and meeting associates, having this going on is not ideal.
There was a small technical issue in my apartment whilst I was there. I contacted reception and maintenance fixed this within 30 mins or so. Overall, I felt happy and secure here. Wi-Fi was excellent, I had most of what I needed and was left alone to enjoy the space, which is important to me. The staff I interacted with were polite, clear, and efficient. As I alluded to, it is some of the small details that will probably make me inclined to try somewhere else next time. However, overall, I do think it is a great choice for location, spacious rooms, kitchen facilities etc."
