Le Grand Balcon Toulouse

"We really enjoyed our stay, perfect location to be able to walk or cycle. Perfect for food, drinks and shopping. we didn't have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment but they had water and iced tea plus cake in reception which was very nice. We had a superior room which was spacious and well equipped, Nespresso machine, kettle, mini fridge- although it did not feel particularly cold. We asked for iron and ironing board which was waiting for us on arrival. AC was slightly hit and miss, we couldn't tell if it was working because we are used to more efficiency but surmised it likely was because it was making a noise however do not expect to feel cool or cold. We are used to AC so cold that a sweater is required inside. Housekeeping came daily but always forgot to restock the coffee and tea but it was easy to ask at reception for more. They did replace the water daily which we appreciated. The soaps and towels were also well stocked and replaced. They did not always empty the bin daily. The room appeared clean, except for under the bed where there was a wrapper, a tissue and 2 euro. Also, despite being close to the central area, it was extremely quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly and we would stay again. Also one nice touch was one day they left a dessert in our room and a card saying if we needed anything we could call reception. They also had umbrellas to borrow if it's raining, which is great when you are trying to pack light. "

"Nice hotel, central to get around Toulouse, clean & comfortable rooms, only criticism criticism is , there is no where to put your phone/ a book & glass of water by the bed. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Grand Balcon, the rooms are well appointed, L’occitane toiletries, coffee maker, all super clean and best of all, a good working airconditioning and a comfortable bed with quality linens. Parking near by the hotel and great location for discovering Toulouse. We will be back , we loved the hotel!"
