"Staying in Strasbourg, and the hotel seemed nice when we arrived. The setup is good and the rooms are exactly as pictured. However after spending the evening walking around the streets of the Christmas Market, we returned to the hotel with the crazy expectation of being warm inside our room. When the temperature maxed out at 17.5 Celsius (that's 63.5 degrees for any stateside readers), the front desk informed me that was the max allowed temperature in the rooms. 63.5 degrees. Now I understand that HVAC ideals differ between Europe and the US, and we're relatively well travelled and can go with the flow in most things. But 63.5 degrees is, in actuality, quite cold. Didn't love it, and won't be coming back unless I decide to start traveling with my own personal space heater."
