Citadines Eurometropole Strasbourg

"A lovely convenient hotel on the edge of Strasbourg. We received a warm and friendly welcome at the front desk with a particularly friendly welcome for our dog! The studio was great! A sizeable, spacious, modern room with a large comfortable bed. We’ve stayed in other studio apartments where you are given a sofabed, so having a real big comfy bed was wonderful! The kitchenette suited our needs perfectly and a small dining table and chairs added to our comfort. Not the hotels fault but there is virtually nowhere close by to go to eat so plan to eat in town if you are visiting."

"WATCH OUT! It is a hotel that is far from the center, but we already knew that. We made a reservation well in advance for 3 people; a few weeks ago, we decided to change the number of nights to 4 instead of 6. To our surprise, upon arrival, the studio is for two. Two of everything, and one bed. It doesn't matter that the reservation is for 3; they don't give you a solution. In Spain, this is unheard of; WE COULD NEVER FIT 3 PEOPLE IN A ROOM FOR 2. Even though we paid for 3, they gave us only one bed. They won't solve anything for us because they are full, even though there are more studios. And if we pay for an additional bed, they will give us a rollaway. But we already have to pay, and the studio is small. It is a disgrace; they charge you to clean the room, they charge you for the gym. We have two towels for 3 people. If you have other options, DO NOT STAY HERE."

"The restaurant is very pleasant, however, there was a great disappointment regarding the welcome, the service, the payment, and the handling of check-outs. It is essential to welcome guests with a smile and a personalized greeting. Service is too slow due to the indifference of the waitresses. For payment, being told "ticket??" is unacceptable. Catastrophic. Would it be possible to say "would you like the receipt?" The check-out process was very rudimentary; I have no desire to return at all. We won't even talk about the reception. The staff there do not offer a glance or a smile to the guests. Oh, I almost forgot the visual scanning upon entering the restaurant: an employee who stares you up and down!!! Very disturbing. As for the dishes: average both visually and in taste."
