"This is my second stay. It’s a lovely place next to the historic civic hospital and 5 minutes on foot from the Cathedral. My room was spacious, comfortable, light-filled and beautiful The restaurant for lunch and dinner is excellent. The staff were kind and helpful. It’s very central but quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended "

"AVOID, no matter what, reserving at this hotel, as the picture shows, this hotel uses 3 buildings, the one in the middle is the main entrance, we were in a room in the left (corner) building, while washing hands the first day I noticed the HOT water was not hot, just warm, the following morning (climate was windy and cold) we did not have hot water, when complaining to the concierge, she gave us 2 different excuses (both non true) one, that they have 3 or 4 different tanks for the hot water but something broke and the person in charge of fixing it was getting the piece and the other, that there were more than 90 people leaving that morning and they used all hot water, she mentioned changing us to another room where there was no trouble with the water (I suppose that in other of the buildings used by the hotel, but that never happened), we found in one of my trips to the bathroom at night that at 4 AM the water was boiling hot but then at around 8 in the morning it was warm again, resulting in having only one shower at acceptable temperature in our stay form May 16 to 19 the bathroom was tiny and the shower so small that you could barely move. The wi-fi was continuously going off, disconnecting and making it impossible to use and I needed to keep in touch with i office. The concierge was rude and aloof, one day I was complaining to her she turned her back on me and when I told her she was being rude, she told me her shift was done and she was going home, and left. Before leaving, I suppose it was a kind of manager, very nice lady, sent us some refreshments as a means of apology. Anyway, DONT USE THIS HOTEL, there are lots of good hotels in Strasbourg."

"Picturesque hotel conveniently located on the edge of the old part of Strasbourg, five minutes walk away. Our room was smallish, due in part to the addition of a small bathroom as these buildings being centuries old, perfectly adequate though. Some traffic noise as part of the street below was cobbled…. option to keep windows closed which minimised traffic noise, and use AC, bed was very comfortable. Charming restaurant, which we ate in on our first night, excellent quality and service, and prices reflect this. Perfectly adequate breakfast in separate breakfast room, very pleasant stay. Parking available some 5 mins walk away, although at Euro 21 per night we thought this was a bit pricey, however this is outside of the hotel’s control."
