Hotel Le Sevigne

"I was genuinely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. According to the hotel’s own policy, rooms were supposed to be cleaned daily, with complimentary tea and coffee provided. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff failed to clean my room for two consecutive days. I reported this twice to the reception, but their only response was to offer vague apologies with no real effort to address the issue. There were also visible spiderwebs in the room upon my arrival, which made it clear that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before I checked in. To make matters worse, a patch of dry, flaking paint on the ceiling—directly above the bed—looked like it could fall at any moment. This was not only unpleasant but also a potential safety concern. Overall, the lack of basic cleanliness, poor maintenance, and the staff’s indifferent attitude left a very negative impression. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel to others unless they seriously improve their housekeeping standards, customer service, and general upkeep."

"Very welcoming and helpful staff. Small, cosy hotel. Nice, clean room - all I could want. Nice breakfast with warm and cold dishes. Great location if you are using the train - just a few minutes from the main station. Also reasonable walk to bus C6 which goes to/from Rennes Airport - approx 10 minutes walk."

"super hôtel close to the main Gare. we booked at the last minute due to airline disruption and were very happy with our choice. very clean, friendly and well equipped. we chose an exec room which put us on 6th floor. very quiet. the room had a big bed but was average size. well worth he small upgrade price. excellent value. plenty of cafe outside for diner."
