Atlantic Hotel Rennes Centre Gare

"The good side was the that hotel room had a good bed with a good mattress, enough pillows but it stopped about there. There were no lights in the bathroom, the hairdryer was broken, the shower handle was a shaped in a right angle and screwed on a pivoting joint. However I had to keep one hand up to prevent the shower head from pivoting all the time. There was no shower gel or shampoo and a very basic breakfast that cost 7€. If you're stopping over, this will do. But if you're planning on staying multiple days in Rennes, just don't."

"This hotel is on a commercial estate so we arrived late Friday with no where to eat. I would recommend requesting a room facing the back, as the front is on a main road. Easy to find on the sat navigation, but only 10 min drive into centre of Rennes"

"This hotel is perfect if you're just staying a night or two and need to be close to the train and bus station. It is also a short walk from the historic centre, which is great if you have a bit of time to kill before or after a train. On the downside, the rooms are quite small, and though the beds are comfortable, the pillows left something to be desired, and felt lumpy. The shower was quite small, and the head didn't extend much past the actual taps, resulting in a few unhappy elbow bruises. The location was wonderful, and the staff were accommodating, but it's definitely a place you don't want to spend much time in - which is ok, because Rennes is a beautiful town to explore."
