"I'd want to give this a 3.5 star rating if 4 is Very Good. This place is definitely good for the price. Pros: - great service w/staff there 24/7 - good location - bed was comfy - shower pressure was strong and hot and lasted - small market right across the street for essentials - felt clean enough Cons: - tiniest shower of all time in our room. I'm 5'7, 160 and I could barely clean my feet - no luggage rack or convenient area to access luggage except for this one corner of the wooden storage unit - thin walls let sound in"

"1. WARNING TO FUTURE GUESTS My stay at this hotel turned into a nightmare. In the middle of the night, part of the ceiling in my room collapsed and fell directly onto me while I was in bed. This was a shocking and frightening incident that could have caused serious injury. As a result of the collapse, my prescription glasses, worth approximately €1,500, were damaged. The situation was so serious that we had to call the police, who attended the hotel and documented the incident. Despite the obvious danger to guests, the hotel’s response was deeply disappointing. No genuine concern was shown for my wellbeing, no adequate assistance was provided, and no compensation was offered for the damage caused. What happened was not a minor maintenance issue—it was a major safety failure. A hotel has a fundamental responsibility to provide a safe environment for its guests. Having part of the ceiling fall onto a guest during the night is completely unacceptable. What disappointed me even more was the way the situation was handled afterward. Rather than taking responsibility and attempting to resolve the matter fairly, the hotel appeared unwilling to acknowledge the seriousness of what had happened. I travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels around the world, but I have never experienced anything remotely comparable to this. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property and would strongly advise future travelers to consider alternative accommodation. Guest safety should always come first."
