Holiday Inn Express Paris CDG Airport

"What a disaster this hotel was. Might be mighty close to the terminal at cdg airport but that is where it ends. We booked for the night before flying out after a long time away and desperately needed a good nights sleep before our long haul flight to Australia. Virtually no sleep for us as the ceiling leaked for hours and by 3am I phoned reception and had to wait for ages before they delivered towels that I put underneath the bin and over it to collect the water. It continued!! The next morning at 6am they apologised and promised a refund but a month later I am still waiting after contacting them multiple times and also involving booking.com who is actively trying to get a response for this substandard accommodation. My daughter has poor health so this just made it even worse. The breakfast was inedible and the bar food at night poor. Overall a bad experience for a hefty cost. Don’t stay there. Try one close by and walk the extra metres to the shuttle train."

"The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport and easily accessible by the free shuttle train and then a short walk to the hotel. There was a queue at check-in, so it took quite a while but the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room was in a quiet location as requested. I was using my points so only had to pay the tourist tax. As a Gold Elite member I also received a drink voucher, which was much appreciated. The room was fine, but the AC was rather inefficient. Friendly barman but food on offer was limited, and the pizzas were not available until 22:30!!"
