Hotel Litteraire Le Swann

"I highly recommend Hotel Litteraire Le Swann the area is close to metros and any shop you would need. It is a quiet area. Our room was small with a balcony,that we really enjoyed every day. The staff is exceptional and made our stay very pleasant. IThe beds were very comfortable and the rooms were soundless to other guests. Ireceived an email from the hotel when I was at the airport that we left an item in our room. They arranged to have it sent home to us. This was so much appreciated. "

"We stayed at this hotel whilst enjoying a long weekend in Paris. The staff were always extremely helpful, especially for us non-French speaking visitors! We had a room with a balcony which was great to make use of for morning coffees or evening glasses of wine. Recommendations: Make use of the Monop a fews away where you can stock up on alcohol, food and snacks far cheaper than anywhere else The bolongerie down the road is great for coffee and pastries before you head out The Publisher pub and Prima pizza nearby are also very good options for an evening meal if you want to stay nearby"

"I stayed here four nights and had a delightful experience. The hotel is beautifully appointed, with compact but modern bathrooms (bathtub with shower, separate wc), fridge/mini-bar and desk. I took a balcony room facing the street which was still quiet with double pane windows and a view. Comfortable lounge/library with Proustian books and, unlike many hotels, a large and bright breakfast room. Many choices at breakfast with cake "fait maison." Probably the friendliest staff I have ever met in Paris, a wonderful group of young people who speak English. Hotel is close to metro (2 and 3), a late night grocery is half a block away, several restaurants nearby and you can walk to the beautiful Parc Monceau area with lots of cafes, stores and the Rue de Levis market street. Highly recommended! Look forward to returning."
