Hotel Golden Tulip Opera De Noailles

"The entire stay has been extremely disappointing. The room condition was very poor, with water leaking from the shower and flooding the room, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. In addition, the bathroom floor tiles were loose and unstable, posing a safety hazard during our stay. The elevator was also in very poor condition and highly concerning, as it was used both by guests and for transporting garbage, which is completely unacceptable in a hotel of this standard. The breakfast experience was equally disturbing. The coffee machine was not functioning, and the cups had a strong unpleasant smell, making them unusable. I also observed serious hygiene concerns, as the same elevator used for waste transportation appeared to be used by staff during service operations. Furthermore, I saw staff handling and preparing food, including cutting fruit, without wearing gloves, which is highly unhygienic. Additionally, we were unable to sleep due to constant noise from the room above us, which made the stay even more unbearable. I also had a very serious incident with one staff member who behaved in a rude and aggressive manner, spoke disrespectfully, and threw the room key towards us in front of other guests. Despite the seriousness of this incident, the hotel never even attempted to apologize or properly address what happened. To make matters worse, the hotel charged a deposit from my card which has still not been refunded despite multiple complaints and providing official bank proof. I spent nearly $3000 on this stay, and honestly it felt like throwing money in the trash. The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service made this one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had"

"Was not quite what we expected. We booked a superior room and ended up with a very small room with no storage space to put anything. No draws to store undergarments etc . Small open wardrobe with 5 hangers not enough space for 2 people so we lived out of our suitcase. Bathroom again no storage to put make bag or toiletries bag, except on edge of bath were they got wet when shower was on, so not an ideal place to store. Being short I could just about see the bathroom mirror. Lighting was minimal & very poor which made the room look dark. In Google it mentioned a bar & a sauna & rooftop terrace. However due to the weather we were not interested in the terrace. But never saw a bar which you would assume to be in ground floor, & no mention of a sauna by staff. The hotel was under renovation on 1st & 2nd floor Good points Bed was rally comfortable staff were friendly."
