"We stayed 2 nights with Hilton Rewards...1-3 December 2025 in room 349. We arrived and were told by Rosa that our room was not yet ready (it was after 14h-2p.m.?). We were sent to Club Lounge and told we would be contacted in 30 minutes or less. We waited and waited over an hour so I went back to front desk to find out that Rosa had gone off duty without informing anyone of our waiting in lounge? Bad start to our stay. Those then at the desk apologized, but we are older and enjoy an afternoon nap, which this experience ruined. We've stayed here about 10 times with a couple of over the top stays, some complete disasters, but mostly some good/some bad like this one; however, the location is great with access to much of Paris by bus, Metro, train, and more. We also have HiltonHonors Diamond status and receive access to the Club Lounge, but our status recognition here otherwise is hit or miss. Our room this time was very tiny. The minibar was empty despite the sign with prices? The bathroom had good size shower, but the rest of the bathroom was about the same size and cramped. The bed took up most of the room, and I don't remember a view. The Club Lounge still only offers 1 red and 1 white wine choice each. There is no liquor! Food is hit or miss and can be something like chicken wings, some other tasty bites, or the possible high carb dish which looks as if it came from the frozen food section! We were able to eat enough to save money by not going out for dinner. We tend to have big lunches at our favorite restaurants when in Paris and eat minimally for dinner. There was one outstanding employee, but I didn't get her name. She worked the breakfast in the main restaurant (not impressed with Club Lounge breakfast so always eat in main restaurant since it's also free for us). I drink lots of water when I eat, but they only had very small glasses for water so I asked her near the end of our 1st breakfast if they had larger glasses, and she presented a good size (500 ml-16 oz or larger) glass filled with water when she saw me the 2nd morning. I still had to refill that one 3-4 times, but it was a lot better than the tiny ones! I would also order my omelet when we checked in and would receive such in 3-5 minutes. I then added my meat and bread choices, got my coffee (and water refills), and other tasty morsels.
In conclusion, we will return here because it is the best located Hilton property in Paris for our needs, is the only Hilton property with a Club Lounge in the city, I think, and because we do have so many reward points! Most of the staff, especially the person who initially greeted us at the front desk (Rosa) and then forgot about us as she ended her work day, need many hours, if not days, of customer service training, especially about to how to treat their top status HiltonHonors members!"
