Where it shows its age is the common areas, which are worn, and the soundproofing could be better! I could hear a couple having a good time! The breakfast is really good and varied in a pretty, well-lit room"

"Really noisy music from surrounding club possibly. Paper thin walls that you can hear everything your neighbours are saying or doing if you're unlucky enough to be subjected so a couple getting busy at 1am when you have work the next day. Beds comfoy and towels clean but this place is best avoided. AC controls display is so bright and doesn't dim when it's on. Limited breakfast was OK. I would NEVER stay here again."

"I rarely leave reviews like this one but here, at 250 € a night, it is just shameful. Already, the photos have nothing to do with the impression the hotel gives in real life. Everything is old, faded, the rooms are completely outdated and the common areas are frankly creepy. It smells old and musty in the hallways, you would think you were in an old hourly hotel in Las Vegas. And meanwhile, at the entrance, they quietly give you a message that tells you about their "modern rooms." But what modern rooms exactly? I had to ask to change rooms from the very first night because the landing doors slam constantly. All night long. Impossible to sleep. And the soundproofing is nonexistent. The walls are so thin that I could distinctly hear my neighbor peeing in his bathroom. I'm not talking about vaguely hearing the plumbing: no, I was literally hearing the guy pee. At €250 a night, it's quite a unique experience, all the same. They change my room and there I discover that there is a nightclub right below the hotel, in the passageway. So here we go again, impossible to sleep. Basically I tested two different rooms and I didn't manage to sleep properly in either of them. In a hotel. At €250 a night. The elevator is insane too. It shakes and moves in every direction, you just want to get out of it. The Tower of Terror at Disneyland but without having asked to go on the ride. And the icing on the cake: power outage for more than 3 hours. Nobody knew what to do. After a while it was ME who had to insist on going to see the electrical panel and it was still ME who managed to restore the power. So to sum up, I paid €250 a night to not sleep, hear my neighbor pee, endure slamming doors and the nightclub, in a dilapidated hotel that doesn't look like its photos, with a creepy elevator, and I finished my stay by doing the electrical troubleshooting myself. It's a joke. The problem isn't even that the hotel is old. Paris is full of magnificent old hotels. Here it's just old, poorly maintained, and sold at a price that has no relation to the service. And above all, don't get fooled by the photos like I did. At €250 a night, it's a rip-off. I will obviously never set foot there again and I advise anyone against booking here."
