Timhotel Montmartre

"Honestly, what I remember most from our stay at Timhotel Montmartre was the bed. We had spent the entire Tuesday walking up and down the steep cobblestone steps around Sacre-Coeur in the cold October drizzle, and by 9:30 PM my feet were completely dead. Falling into that mattress was absolute heaven. The sheets were crisp and spotlessly clean, the pillows actually had real neck support instead of being flat like pancakes, and the room stayed quiet enough that I slept straight through until 8:00 AM without waking up once. That kind of deep rest while traveling in Paris is rare, and it was extremely perfect after being on our feet all day. Everything in the room was kept tidy, and the front desk staff was super helpful when we needed a large van called for our early morning airport trip. We definitly loved staying here on the hill."

"Hotel itself was fine for a couple night stay. It was worn out and not well cared for but clean and the bed was comfy. Had absolutely the worst taxi experience of my life on our taxi ride arranged by the hotel to the airport this morning with no effective support from hotel. Was charged 100 euros. This is not the legal amount from this location to Charles de Gaulle airport. Driver required payment minutes into the ride stated he couldn’t get WiFi for payment at the airport. Driver charged extra for using a card. Driver then complained bitterly because we selected euros instead of dollars which everyone should. Driver demanded more money stating we owed him 10 more euros and said he would pullover and we would have to get out. All of this was communicated with hotel. Only received an email confirming they knew it was highly unusual and they were trying to figure out who the cab was booked through then nothing even after I emailed stating the driver took pictures of both my daughter and her fiancée when we got to the airport, because he took a picture of the stickers o. The windshield for us to file a complaint with the police for the violation. I would absolutely never recommend a hotel that would make arrangements for their guests that were so unethical, unprofessional and illegal with absolutely no support during that service arranged by their front desk."

"We had requested a room far from the elevator to be in a quiet area, but we were ultimately placed right next to it. At night, guests returning were very noisy: loud conversations in the hallway and slamming doors. No visible reminders seemed to encourage respecting nighttime quiet, which is regrettable given the rates charged. Otherwise, the bathroom and room were small. But we appreciated the 180 cm bed (2 twin 90 cm beds). Cleanliness was generally acceptable, even if it could be improved on certain points. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was varied and well-stocked. Finally, the staff was impeccable, welcoming, and professional."
