Marceau Champs Elysees

"The staff are lovely and the location is great but the rooms are teeny tiny! The bed is a double and there is around 30cm around the bed on each side to move around. The bathroom is at the end of the bed and has double glass doors so privacy is non-existent. It also looked like there had been a knife fight in our bathroom as the tap was scratched to bits and there were deep gouge and stab marks in the bath too. We booked on a hotel booking site and it was listed as a 4* hotel. It isn’t. It’s 3* and that’s stretching it. But, as I said, the location is great; literally a 5 minute walk from the Seine"

"The room was comfortable , clean and well appointed with a safe, desk, small table and full bathroom. There is an elevator. This hotel is in a great location within a short walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Arch De Triumph. There are restaurants next door and a comfortable coffee room in the front lounge. Service here is very friendly . The buffet has a good selection hot and cold."

"This is a wonderful hotel. It's close to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee and Arc de Triomphe, as well as metro stations George V, Alma and CDG Etoile. The front of house staff are welcoming and friendly, but special mention must go the the evening receptionist who is charm personified. Sadly, we didn't get his name but he welcomed us delightfully when we arrived and we enjoyed chatting about our day with him throughout our stay. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean in the public areas, breakfast room and bedrooms. There is a small, comfortable lounge area with an ' honesty bar' for hot drinks. The breakfast room is inviting with a great array of choices of food which was replenished quickly. We were always greeted warmly. Tables were cleared and made up swiftly, so everything was pristine. Our room was extremely comfortable and well sound-proofed. It was cleaned beautifully everyday and made up with fresh towels. We didnt use the mini bar but it was well stocked with a range of drinks at reasonable hotel prices. We were made to feel like proper guests rather than paying customers. I recommend this hotel without reservation."
