Hotel Marmotel

"I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. It is an average property, a bit oldfashioned, however it is clean, daily maintained and equipped with everything you need for an overnight. The biggest pros is its location… just few minutes by walk from Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile. This is probably the reason of the charge required for a night without breakfast… However one must take also into account that Paris is definitely not a cheap city. To sum up, a bit old fashioned and average hotel with an excellent location."

"This is a very bare bones 2 star hotel. The location is good - near Palais de Congress and the Arc de Triomphe - but the rotating staff alternates between combative and brain dead and the rooms are tiny! The horizontal bar in the pressboard closet for hanging up clothes was broken. Soap is the size of a half eaten Thin Mint. If you can spend a bit more money, I would avoid this place."
