Hotel du Collectionneur

"The hotel is lovely- our suite - which we paired more for was a delight. Do go downstairs to see the lovely art deco ballrooms. The negatives- Location- a very residential area without much around it. It is about a 25 minute walk to the opera house or plaza concord- and we walk fast. Service- when you call down for any reason you get someone who is supposed to help you but always says “I have to ask my colleagues and doesn’t do so requiring a second call. Cold food-The buffet potatoes and mushrooms were colds- otherwise, the buffet was lovely."

"We arrived at the hotel with a confirmed reservation, only to be told that our room had already been given to someone else. The front desk staff showed no interest in helping us and instead spent their time laughing and chatting among themselves. We were eventually placed in a room that was well below the standard we paid for. Even worse, the room was dirty – the bedding had stains, and the overall cleanliness was completely unacceptable. This is far from what you would expect from a hotel claiming to be 5 stars. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who values professionalism, cleanliness, and respect for their guests."
