La Clef Louvre Paris

"This hotel is perfectly located close to the Louvre, The Tuilleries and the Seine. My room had a very comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchenette, lovely toiletries from L'Occitaine de Provence and air conditioning, needed on a 34 degree September day. In the lobby was complimentary water with lemon, lime and cucumber. Staff were friendly and helpful. My mum had a few issues with her room key but these were sorted. Her initial room had a shower over bath but the staff found a suite with a walk-in shower for her, as originally requested. The only issue was as readers, both rooms hadn't got bright reading lights by the bed, but we managed ok. Breakfast was expensive but had granola, muesli, crepes, pastries, ham,cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt and hot and cold drinks."

"I enjoyed staying in this modern, cosy hotel with an unbeatable location…a few steps away from Avenue Champs-Elysée. What stood out the most was the outstanding service from all their staff. Rafael was particularly helpful, always with a big smile on his face…thank you! The one improvement I would recommend is having an on-site café and better room service menu."

"I first stayed at this hotel in March 2023 and experienced issues with both the air conditioning and the elevator. Despite reporting the problem and having maintenance check the room, the cooling never improved and we were eventually provided with an electric fan. Before booking again in May 2026, I contacted the hotel by email to ask whether these issues had been resolved. I was assured that everything had been fixed, which, together with the hotel’s excellent location, was the main reason I decided to give it a second chance. Unfortunately, I encountered the same problems again. The room was uncomfortably warm, the air conditioning was ineffective, and we were once again provided with an electric fan. Housekeeping and room cleanliness were also below expectations, and the elevator broke down twice during our stay, forcing us to use the stairs to and from the fifth floor. I am disappointed that, despite the assurances I received before booking, there was little noticeable improvement compared to my previous stay."
