Hotel Madame Reve

"It is a beautifully chic hotel and the staff, for the most part, are friendly and warm. However, when checking in, we were told by the gentleman who checked us in and accompanied us to our room, that breakfast was included in our rate. The next morning, after having breakfast, we learned that our breakfast wasn't included. When my wife discussed the misunderstanding with the front desk, the woman at the front desk held her ground and repeatedly told her it was a mistake. It was an error on their part, and the typical response should have been that they covered breakfast for the one-time in question; they did not. Separately, as a boutique, 5-star hotel, each guest should be welcomed back when entering the lobby. On at least one occasion, when entering the lobby from the outside, the front desk clerk never looked up to say hello. Being chic and friendly should always coexist. Most team members were friendly, but not all. The bar and restaurant staff at Madame Reve are exceptional. Tristan, the bartender, is a standout team member. He was engaging and excited to share with us the different cocktails he makes. He'll be remembered. Lastly, for a rate of over $1000 per night, we didn't feel the hotel was good value."

"The hotel and staff are great. The room was good. However, I have never stayed in a Five star hotel where the toilet was in a room with no sink or bidet, and is as far from the bathroom as possible. This means after using the toilet, you have to walk across the room to the other side of the hotel room to wash your hands in the sink. This was disgusting and unsanitary. Install sinks or bidets in the toilet room, otherwise it is just an outhouse. This ruins a great hotel with a great staff in a great location."

"A truly charming property with a wonderful personality and a distinctive sense of place. I loved the concept, the beautiful design, and the exceptional location, very good value for money. The room was perfectly sized, with breathtaking views over the iconic rooftops of Paris. But what made my stay truly unforgettable was waking up to the most extraordinary sunrise over the city, watching Paris slowly come to life in the morning light. It was a magical moment and a perspective of Paris I had never experienced from any other hotel. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay, and breakfast was equally enjoyable. I absolutely loved the experience. A hotel with character, charm, and a real sense of Paris. I would happily return and wholeheartedly recommend it."
