Renaissance Paris Republique

"We enjoyed this hotel in Le Marais area of Paris - the location is right near the Republique metro station and also convenient to get a taxi. The front desk service was very responsive and friendly. The rooms were clean and a good size for Paris - they were serviced twice daily, which was a welcome surprise. We had 2 rooms and they were able to accomodate us being next to each other upon advance request, which was helpful for us with 2 teens. We also informed them in advance that we were celebrating our daughter's birthday and their was a welcome treat of cookies and champagne when we arrived. We enjoyed drinks at the bar multiple nights and the bar servers were excellent - very friendly and helpful with thoughts and recommendations about the area. Overall, would definitely consider this hotel for future stays in Paris."

"A quiet comfortable four star hotel for couples or business travelers in the Republique area of Paris. Just steps from the metro, you can start your day with a good continental breakfast. The beds are comfortable though the room ran warm even with the A/C at the top settings. The neighborhood has a good boulangerie a block away. The hotel is a nice oasis though the area is not the most romantic. The hotel is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"The hotel.is situated in a great location and the rooms are clean. Walking distance of Marais and neighboring shopping areas. A very close metro stop and cafes, shops, restaurants, happening square, and more. The rooms are smaller than you can imagine and not designed for a traveler with any luggage. Definitely sized for a very short visit without more than a carry on. The room is not functional at all. The sinks are low, water splashes every where; the shower knobs are horribly placed and designed by someone who would never had to use the shower/bathtub. Very little bedside storage. The design of the room missed out on several opportunities to add functionality and storage but they chose esthetics over function. Our room key kept deactivating every day without any explanation, but with plenty of apologies. Overall I wouldn't stay again when there are so many other hotels to try and choose from."
