"The lobby is nicely designed with plenty of comfortable seating, and the location is quite convenient. Unfortunately, that’s where my positive impression ends. The room layout was entirely impractical and not suitable for a family. While the size was decent for Paris standards, the design was problematic — the shower opened directly into the sleeping area rather than being enclosed in a separate bathroom. This meant my daughter and I had to leave the room whenever my husband showered, which was far from ideal. When we requested a different layout, the only option offered was to change rooms midway through our stay — an inconvenient solution, especially for a short visit. The receptionist was completely indifferent and unapologetic, even though this unusual layout is not mentioned anywhere on the hotel’s website when selecting your room. The shower’s open design also left the room damp, and we noticed mold and ceiling rot as a result. The sheets did not appear fully clean, and our window faced a restaurant’s dumpsters just a few feet away, which filled the room with an unpleasant mix of food and garbage odors. Opening the window for fresh air simply wasn’t possible. At this price point, I expected a far more comfortable and functional stay. Having to leave the room just so someone can shower is absurd. I truly wish we had booked elsewhere."
