"Stayed here during the height of the May heatwave and had a good experience. My spouse's company booked this hotel for a business trip and I tagged along. The hotel is air conditioned. Our room was on the first floor, and was reasonably-sized for a hotel room in a major city, something that can perhaps be a culture shock for people staying in places like Paris and New York City for the first time. The room was cleaned daily. My only point of note is the shower/tub combination had a VERY high step up/in. It was fine for us, two able-bodied adults, but I'm not sure how smaller children, people with mobility issues (including senior citizens), or other impairment would have fared in the same room. It was not considered an accessible room, so perhaps this is a moot point.
While we were there it was still undergoing its renovation, as other reviewers have mentioned, and there was a period briefly during one days that there was no power in our hotel room for about an hour while they were working on something nearby. It was not a bother, as it was during the time of day that most people would be out and about exploring the city, I just wish they had given us a notice that it might happen so it didn't seem so disconcerting at first.
The breakfast buffet included in the room rate was a pleasant plus, and delicious. It included fruits, eggs, cheeses, breads and hot and cold cereals as well as bacon and sausage and some crepes and pancakes as well. There is also a coffee bar that serves pastries, lattes, and other espresso beverages, and there's a small self-serve market with potato chips, candies, sundry items in case you forgot something, and beverages that had a nice selection. I didn't need anything so I can't speak to the price.
Every single staff member we dealt with whether at check-in, the coffee bar, the regular bar, or at breakfast each morning was friendly, helpful, welcoming and so kind. We arrived early from an overnight flight, and despite it being well-before the noted check in time, they were able to get us into a room after only about a two hour wait, for which I was extremely grateful.
I don't know if I would have chosen to stay here based on my planned activities, but it was located only about a 2 minute walk from the Porte-Maillot metro station and there were some excellent restaurants nearby despite it being in a somewhat quieter part of the city. All-in-all, I enjoyed our stay as did my spouse."
