Kube Hotel Paris

"Disappointing stay – far below expectations for a hotel of this standard We are currently staying at the Kube Hotel in Paris and, sadly, our experience has been extremely disappointing. We arrived on Friday afternoon at around 3:30pm and were initially pleased with our superior room. Unfortunately, that positive first impression quickly disappeared. The minibar fridge was not working on arrival. We reported it immediately, yet more than 48 hours later it is still not functioning despite repeated reminders. As guests in the middle of summer, we expected to be able to keep drinks cold in the room, particularly after spending long days sightseeing. The bathroom is another major issue. Whilst the shower-over-bath design looks stylish, it is completely impractical. The bath is low and square, and every shower results in water pouring onto the bathroom floor, leaving it saturated. We requested additional bath mats on two separate occasions, but they never arrived. To make matters worse, we were informed that there is no housekeeping service over the weekend (or only on alternate days), which was never explained when we booked or checked in. Had we known this in advance, we could at least have managed our expectations. This evening, after returning from a full day exploring Paris, we were looking forward to relaxing with a drink in the hotel. We discovered that the bar is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings. Again, this had never been communicated to us at any stage. We were left unable even to buy a glass of wine in what is advertised as a four-star hotel. What has been most frustrating is not just the individual problems, but the complete lack of resolution. Every issue was reported politely, yet none has been properly addressed. This hotel certainly has potential. The rooms are attractive, the beds are comfortable and the location suited our trip well. However, good design cannot make up for poor maintenance, poor communication and a lack of customer service. For the price we have paid, we expected a much higher standard. We leave feeling very disappointed and cannot recommend the Kube Hotel unless significant improvements are made to both its facilities and its guest service."

"My experience at Kube Hotel Paris was mixed. While I appreciated that the management refunded my first night after some issues, the hotel falls short of four-star standards. I encountered bugs in my original room, a lack of air conditioning, and cleanliness concerns—especially in the dining area. One staff member initially suggested I find another hotel, which was unhelpful, though I was later upgraded to a better room after some persistence. I booked well in advance, so these problems were disappointing. The hotel has potential, but major improvements are needed before it can truly meet four-star expectations. On their website they say they are five minutes walk from garden door however it’s 15 to 20 minutes away the entire time it is an obstacle course of dodging shady characters. It is in a very bad area."
