"We can recommend the hotel without reservation! Both upon our first arrival and 3 weeks later when we returned from our trip, we were upgraded to a suite with free breakfast. The second time, unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of it due to time constraints, and then they prepared breakfast to go for us! Many thanks to Diop at the reception! Top location, right by train stations and the metro."

"Located in a well-served area, right in front of the main entrance of the East station with the subway at the door, the surroundings are safe and quiet even at night, and you can easily find food at any time. It is a good 4-star hotel, clean and quiet, with everything you need, a good international breakfast, but above all, 5-star staff who are very kind, helpful, and welcoming."

"Firstly, I should say that both my husband and I really like NH hotels and have stayed in quite a number in various places - but this is the worst either of us has stayed in! Location is good, right opposite Gare de L'Est (so expect a little noise, but nothing unexpected), with a Metro station and bus stops at the end of the road. The hotel lacks any atmosphere, the bar felt 'dead', the reception/cleaning staff were pleasant, the lifts are 'the slowest lifts in the world'. Our room, £200+ per night, room only, was tiny - the view of Sacré Cœur? Well, yes, you could see it in the far, far distance - but just save your money, don't pay extra for 'the view' - go and buy a Metro ticket for a few euros, go to Montmartre and see it close up. The room was so small, I had to walk sideways between the sloping wall and the side of the bed to get in; the curtain was hanging off the rail; the toilet 'ran' all night; you couldn't switch off a blue light on the hair dryer, the bath side was so high to get out of I ended up with bruises on my thighs, the shower/bath had the most ridiculous tiny 'joystick' control and the toiletries felt like they might come away from the wall if you pressed too hard. Not recommended."
